Merlin Labs' novel fluorescent technology is a low cost, high sensitivity version of a common visual lateral-flow assay. With over 40 years of combined experience developing quality assays built on the lateral flow platform, we will be able to develop a fluorescent lateral-flow assay for your application. Fluorescent Rapid Test (Lateral-Flow) Technology
The fluorescent platform utilizes a unique fluorochrome possessing a Stokes shift of greater than 150nm, which minimizes autofluorescence and enables the user to view the results without the need for an expensive chromatic filter to separate excitation and emitted light. The test is easy to use and easy to read using our handheld viewer. The fluorescent lateral flow assay can be developed as either qualitative or quantitative.
